Asymmetrical

So here is my new do! I got 3-4" chopped off and at first it was a lot to handle but after a couple days I am really starting to love it! My hair has a lot more volume and texture and its just fun to flip over. I really think the short crop is something that looks good on everyone, it can be a few inches longer or shorter depending on your face but its just a nice change for summer!

I got this dress a few years ago at H&M in Toronto, its such an easy jersey dress to wear but the asymmetrical silhouette makes it look so stylish! This is one dress I had in every color!

Playing with Prints

This is one of my favorite outfits. I love playing with the different prints and proportions of the top and shorts (yes they look like a skirt). Also I love that the colors are super girlie without the outfit looking too girlie.

Blurred Lines

Easy outfit on a hot day. I really love the stripes and colors of this dress. I also love that the back falls slightly lower than you'd expect. Kept it neutral with the bag and the shoes (which are quickly becoming my favorite summer sandals).

I'm Lovin It

Sorry for the lack of posts! I've been having a scheduling conflict with my photographer aka my boyfriend. 

Anyways I wore this dress yesterday for brunch, and then walking around a super small flea in Astoria. Ended up buying a dainty bracelet and necklace will post soon!

LBR

Wore this little black romper (LBR) over the weekend. I love the deep v in the back, and the double straps at the top make for an unexpected but practical detail (it keeps the straps from falling off my shoulder). Just like a LBD and LBR is a wardrobe staple, its so easy to wear to any occasion. I've worn this as a cover up to the beach and dressed it up for dinner. The styling possibilities are endless.

Also I added a pop of color with my newest clutch from Zara!

Tricky

How do you dress for weather that says 72 and 40% chance of rain and you know its going to feel a lot warmer because of the humidity and you also need to wear shoes you don't mind if they get wet?! Sigh. Well this is what I came up with. A lightweight top, jeans and some cute shoes that I don't mind if they get wet. Definitely not my favorite weather to get dressed for.

Botanical Garden

I know I already said an amazing dress and cute shoes is the easiest summer outfit. It still is, however a SHIFT dress and cute shoes is the absolute easiest! Shift dresses are a girls best friend/my best friend. You can wear them to work, dinner, drinks, shopping, on a fat day, the possibilities are endless. This particular one happens to be an old time fave from H & M. And you already know the shoes are from Aldo.
