I've been wearing SO MUCH black lately! I don't know why it just seems to be my go to in the am. 

This dress brought some much needed color (even though I paired it with black tights and shoes!)

It's that time of year when you want to put your boots back in storage and not wear 3534 layers to survive the weather (NOT to look cute).

Anyways its FRIDAY!! =) And I will be having my first ever couch surfer staying with me this weekend!

Trend Alert: Wined & Dined

For a while now wearing all one hue has been trending. At first it seemed to be mostly royal blue hues and now it has switched to Burgundy shades. If you already own items in these shades throw them together for an easy outfit that looks classy and expensive!

Winter whites is also a popular one color look and if your like me you have more shades of whites in your closets than burgundy's.

OR if your REALLY like me you've just been wearing 584396734 shades of black everyday. 

No one cares

Found this shirt at a street vendor and fell in love. Such a fun knock off of the Chanel No 5.

Dreaming of  times when I was able to take outfit pics outdoors, without a coat.

It's FREEZING outside! Which is precisely why I took my pictures inside today! Its not always the easiest to find a good place indoors but I managed to find an empty corner at the office =) This will probably be my go to spot for the next couple of days because there is no sign of warmer weather.

Yes I'm wearing tights under my jeans because its THAT cold.

This was yesterday. NYC was hit hard with the snow which I can deal with but today the weather is so freezing!!! My feet are still thawing out from my walk to work. Anyways. 

All black layers always makes for a great outfit.

Sunday Brunch

What I wore to brunch yesterday. It was a sunny day not to be confused with a warm day! Good thing my bubble jacket is o so warm. 

Did a little shopping at the Zara sale and picked up this turtleneck for less than $10! Its so tempting to go back although I know I shouldn't.

Into the fog

It was a super foggy morning yesterday in NYC. I love the skyline when it's like this, the Empire State building always looks so eery.

These corduroys are one of the comfiest pants I own! Just enough stretch without feeling like a legging. I love the paisley design too! Got them at Joe Fresh last season but you can get a plain version here.

Favorites

This outfit is compiled of all of my favorite things. The sweater, loose t, boyfriend jeans, ankle boots and the structured coat. Everything.

Mondays

Waking up on Monday's bring mixed emotions. I always wake up with an exact mood on what I want to wear that day either I want to dress really nice because I dressed down all weekend or I want to be comfortable (usually means comfy shoes). Today was comfy shoe day. Believe it or not these shoes are super comfortable the rubber bottom makes them easy to walk in no slip and the heel height is just right.

Staples

This looks is made up of what in my opinion, should be staples in everyone's closet. Classic striped shirt, black cardigan (over-sized or regular),the perfect pair of black skinnies, statement booties, and a classic tan belt.
