Went into Aldo's the other day and fell in love with these sandals (way cuter in person!)... Definitely going to be on my bday wish list, if I can wait that long!
Your feet are going to thank you for this latest buy! Espadrilles ! With the ever popular Chanel Espadrilles (see below), it seems like every other major designer was soon to follow suit. Including Valentino, Jimmy Choo, Marc Jacobc, Charlotte Olympia etc... And lucky for everyone on a budget these shoes are super affordable without sacrificing style. You can find similar styles in Forever 21, Zara, and Shopbop has a few cute style for $40. Definitely grabbing a pair now to wear out over the summer!
ITS FINALLY SPRING! Now I am just waiting for the weather to match the title! Here are a few pics to get inspired for the warm season and brighten up your day.
Its impossible to ignore the black and white craze going on. It was big in the Louis Vuitton, Alexander Wang, Celine, Prada S/S collections, and its in every store display currently.
This trend is amazing for so many reasons beginning with versatility. I don't know one person who doesn't have a white shirt and black pants. So there you go, there if your first trend appropriate outfit! Now you can take it to the next level by wearing both pieces with a b&w print on them. There is no such thing as b&w prints that clash, therefore you should go crazy. Wearing any and all of your black and white prints together, and your outfit will look as amazing as the pictures below. Add a pop of color on your nails and your a trendsetter.
Another reason why this is so amazing is because you can buy all the black and white stuff you want and regardless of when this craze ends you can continue to wear them if not together but separately, or maybe with the next craze (ex. white top with colored jeans).
Black and white weren't invented yesterday. People have always been wearing all black or all white outfits. Its the fun mixing and matching (see below) that have me inspired to create new looks based on this trend.
The warm weather is on its way! With Spring quickly (not quick enough) approaching its time to start taking winter pieces and mixing them into your spring looks. The temp is still cooler so sweaters and turtlenecks and appropriate however you can show a little leg (without tights) or wear a spring coat! Really cant wait to wear my flats without my feet going numb from the cold, and looking forward to brightening up my wardrobe!
The following slideshow gives you some ideas on how to work in those winter pieces into spring and make them last for a couple more months! (click the arrows)
My last post on what to buy now was all the way back in September with Western Boots. That trend is still going strong and I happen to snag the black and white pair from Zara on sale!! This time around its sweatshirts! This trend is great for all budgets and can easily be added to any wardrobe. You can pair it with boyfriend jeans and heels for a comfy but still stylish look, or wear it with a flare skirt to dress it up . Here are some inspirational pics for outfits!
Also it would be very easy to make your own one of a kind, buy buying a plain sweatshirt and adding embroidery or sew on gems etc... Maybe a DIY post will be coming soon!...
