Shades of Blue

Back from Jamaica! Do I look any tanner?... Don't answer that. Had the most amazing 5 days soaking up the sun, having girlie drinks, and learning about Jamaica. What a wonderful island full amazing people. One of the best parts of the trip was going zip-lining through the jungle, looking down from 1700 ft. at the ocean. Incredible. 

Currently I am having a hard time adjusting to the 20 degree drop in weather! I so badly want to keep wearing my short dresses and sandals. I'm a little bit cold in this look today! Can you believe that its about to be June?!!

Side note- Bought this bag for Jamaica its the PERFECT beach bag, that I also used as my carry on, that I am now using as a purse. Talk about getting the most out of a purchase! There is a pouch on the inside that comes out for personal or impt stuff, and the holes make it easy to get the sand out.

The little things

Sorry about the pissed off look in these pics. Kept it simple yesterday with a short sleeve sweater and bf jeans and of course my favorite shoes.

I added some color to my otherwise pretty simple and classic bag over the weekend. I found these bag charms at H&M and they are the little added detail that makes me smile. Who wouldn't want a pair of leather cherries hanging from there bag?! I can't think of anyone.

Tucker

Impromptu photo-shoot at the public library over the weekend. We were walking by while running some errands and it seemed like the perfect place to shoot this look. This dress has been a long time favorite from the Tucker x Target collab. which was wayyyy back in the day when not many people even knew about the collaborations and they were stocked online longer than 5 min.  I think the collabs today are kind of over-rated and I haven't really loved any of the recent ones at Target. 

Everything in this outfit is old but this this and this are cute too!

School Girl

The school girl outfit is ALWAYS a good idea. Its season-less, and both sexy and cute. I opted for these boots because its suppose to rain all day and naturally I thew on my favorite pleated skirt. Also I've had this coat on non stop the past couple of weeks but for some reason it has not yet made it to the blog. Its not really spring colors, but the silhouette and fabrication make it perfect to throw over dressier outfits for some light coverage.

Maxi Monday

I am in such a good mood due to the warm weather and the most amazing weekend I had! It was the perfect balance of relaxation and activities. Went out with friends, saw stand up comedy at the Comedy Cellar (hilarious!), ate amazing food and planted flowers on our porch. I was disappointed I couldn't be with my mom on Mother's day, but I made sure to send her something special!

Maxi's are the easiest item to throw on and create a look. Also there perfect for the start of warmer weather because it gives you a little more time to work on those legs and get a tan! I got this dress at Marshall's last summer and I fell in love with the neckline and layout of the stripes.
