Easy weekend outfit with my new favorite jeans. Bought these jeans from Urban Outfitters for $10!!! You cant even buy lunch here for $10. It was one of those lucky moments when the last pair is in your size! Anyways .. seeing how long I can avoid going to the after Christmas sales before I spend a lot of money I should not be spending. ITS JUST SO TEMPTING! Esp the Zara sale! =)

 Nothing easier then an all black outfit. Different textures and fabrics are what make an all black outfit really special. I wasn't kidding when I said I was excited to wear these shoes threw them on ASAP this morning!

Happy Friday Everyone!

Tights and dresses are my go to when I want to be warm and comfortable during the winter. I wore a cheetah shirt underneath the dress for some added warmth and I love the pop of print it brings to the outfit!

Vintage Knit

When shopping at the salvation army I always scour the sweater and the denim racks. The quality for both is unlike today's garments and the details are hard to find on modern clothes. I bought this sweater a few years ago (for under $10) and it has been one of my best finds to date. The interesting neckline and hem alone would make this sweater extremely expensive today. 

The denim there is another story and another post. I just cant get enough of the interesting denim shirts they have there and almost all of my denim shirts I have bought from the sal val.

Calm before the storm

The snow is beginning to pile up in NYC and I'm not complaining. Its nice to see some snow on the ground! Anyways this is just a quick post of yesterdays outfit. Just a touch of color with the sweater.

THAT Sweater

I know your probably sick of seeing this sweater! But I am most certainly not sick of wearing it! Its too easy to throw over anything and everything! Today was bitter cold so I just wanted to layer up and wear something comfy.

Velvet Crush

 

I'm pretty sure I wore this exact same outfit to my first day of 8th grade. Or maybe I can just picture myself wearing it then. Something about this outfit makes me want to reminisce. I use to wear velvet on Christmas almost every year growing up and the shoes remind me of growing up in the 90s. 

The dress was a great find at the Salvation Army and I was pleasantly surprised to find these shoes while browsing at DSW, and I was even more pleasantly surprised with the price!

Winter Weather

 

 Today was the first day in NYC that it really snowed. Lucky for me growing up in Buffalo has taught me a few things about dressing for winter weather. 

I got this sweater at JCP while I was home, I love the fuzzy yarn at the top! I think it makes the sweater look expensive which it definitely was not. Also this is the last of the 3 quilted skirts I got Uniqulo last year. You can see the other two here and here.
